I’ve had the gift of compassionate listening from a young age. I find it natural to hold space for others. As a therapist, these attributes, combined with education and a genuine sense of positive regard for each individual, I am able to support clients in their journey of interpersonal and intrapersonal insight. It is so rewarding to observe clients access their power, and become more understanding and compassionate for themselves! I take great care and consideration of a client’s needs, values, culture, and support them in shaping a healthy and meaningful foundation of acceptance, healing, and growth. It’s an honor to be selected as someone’s counselor. Healing and growth are within us all. I am an advocate for folx who find counseling difficult to approach, because they’ve experienced marginalization and disenfranchisement from our society. As a Rehabilitation Counselor, I have a specialized focus on people with disabilities, and people from other marginalized populations.

My approach as a counselor is to validate a client’s experiences; to help them process those experiences so they can begin validating themselves, and gain (or regain) a more fulfilled life. When a client can process whatever it is that’s holding them back, they are able to change habits and moods that’ve contradicted how they want to live. Therapy is a great space to create and implement these changes!

I am passionate about flipping that script and making space to paint a bigger picture! You are worthy of self-worth and deserving of self-acceptance!
