Whether you are experiencing symptoms of depression, anxiety, grief or just feeling stuck in your present situation, I would love to meet you and collaborate with you to help you find solutions toward relief and to help you move beyond your current experience.

My priority is to build a therapeutically warm and trusting relationship with my clients, offering a safe refuge and my approach focuses on the whole person – mental, physical, social, spiritual. I believe the answers you are looking for are within you and we will work together toward helping you uncover them.

I have experience working with a variety of specific populations. I worked for 6 years with rehab patients recovering from physical trauma and illness as they worked hard to regain their mobility and independence. I also worked at a women’s shelter, with women and children experiencing domestic violence.

I graduated from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland with a BA in Psychology, and from the University of North Texas with my MEd. In Counseling.

I was born in Germany, grew up in Scotland and moved to the United States 27 years ago. This has resulted in a love of traveling, learning about other cultures, and a deep understanding of the process of relocating and the impact that can have on the life of an individual.

Besides traveling, music, and cooking (especially meat pies!), I love to spend time with my family, friends and two wild Westies. I look forward to meeting you!
