ALLWays Another Way Interview with Ashley Rogers

Attachment styles are often at the root of all interpersonal relationships, and part of the foundation on which Ashley Rogers works with each of her clients. As a Licensed Professional Counselor and Director of The Grove, Ashley assists clients to uncover their individual, yet unique attachment styles. Through working from a developmental and systemic perspective, Ashley is able to help clients reconnect, heal, grow, and expand their mental and emotional capabilities.

Along with other mind-body modalities, Ashley has undergone specialty training in Somatic Experiencing—an emerging psycho-biological approach to treating trauma and chronic stress. She recently spoke about this work and about attachment styles on the ALLways Another Way podcast

Attachment styles are developed as a result of the emotional relationships and bonds created between caregiver and child—especially during the early years of childhood. Discovering our own attachment styles, and our own personal needs and expectations based on our individual experiences is crucial to understanding the relationships of our past, present and future.
